I'm Kiley Missere, a visual artist inspired by the ocean, sky, and the fluid beauty of water. Though I studied art in school, life led me in different directions for a time. Several years ago, I returned to painting, with travel and solo adventures becoming a catalyst for my work, opening my eyes to new landscapes, light and colour.
Growing up far from the ocean, I became deeply drawn to coastal environments once I began traveling. The sea, sunsets, and the ever-changing movement of water now form the foundation of my practice. I work primarily in acrylics, I create abstract paintings that explore depth, texture and emotion- fluid, atmospheric pieces that invite personal interpretation.

My work explores blues and ocean palettes, though I'm always experimenting with new color variations. I love that abstract art allows viewers to find their own meaning in each piece.
I've had the opportunity to participate in an artist residency in Tulum, Mexico, where I created work reflecting the turquoise waters and beaches of the region.
